PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a setting block capable of dispensing with fixation by use of a double-side tape or an adhesive when installing in a panel mounting channel. SOLUTION: This setting block has a main body part 1, elastic pieces 2, 2 protruding sideways from both sides of an upper part of the main body part, and abutting pieces 3, 3 protruding sideways from both sides of a lower part of the main body part. In the main body part, an end face of a panel 4 is loaded on an upper face, the elastic pieces and the abutting pieces are elastically deformed so as to bend onto an upper side when they are attached in the panel mounting channel 5 of a lower frame 10, tip parts of the elastic pieces and the abutting pieces are abutted on side walls 7, 7 of the panel mounting channel, and a lower face of the main body part 1 is abutted on a bottom 6 of the panel mounting channel.
