<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct a tone generation system by combining a sound source connected to a network such as a LAN and processors functioning as various tone-generation-related devices. <P>SOLUTION: In a plurality of rooms 1 to 4, hubs 10 to 40 are installed to build a star-shaped LAN, and tone-generation-related devices are connected to the respective hubs 10 to 40. In an internal network, a KB (keyboard) 14 is logically connected to an input side of a TG (sound source) 12 and an SP2 (speaker) 21 and an SP1 (speaker) 15 are logically connected to an output side of the TG (sound source) 12, so as to build the tone generation system.
