PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner that secures firmly adsorption elements for adsorbing vaporized fuel to a housing without need to provide newly a special process, and also maintain performance of the elements and performance of an air cleaner itself. SOLUTION: An air cleaner incorporates a filter element 60 in a housing 1A formed by lining up open ends each other of a pair of housing members 2, 20, and an adsorption element 40 for adsorbing the vaporized fuel. Welded protrusions 12, 29 that protrude toward the other open ends are formed at the respective open ends in respective housing members 2, 20, and a connecting portion 46 is formed, in which a welded protrusion 47 is formed at a holding frame 42 of the adsorption element 40. Then, the welded protrusions 12, 29 are caused to contact each other, and the welded protrusion 47 are caused to contact the welded protrusion 29 of the housing member 20 disposed at the opposite side of the adsorption element 40, thereby these are formed integrally through vibration welding.
