In contrast to other systems, the electronic physician's orders system can create physician's orders electronically at the point-of-care and can maintain the orders in an Orders ' Database or print the orders for use in a paper-based system. Thus, the system can eliminate or supplement creating and maintaining handwritten physician's orders records.</p>
