FIELD: electrical and electromechanical engineering; three-phase induction and synchronous machines including slip-ring induction motors. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed three-phase, double-layer, asymmetric, m' = m = 3-phase, m' = m = 3-band, 2p = 6c-pole fractional-slot lap winding placed in z = 42c slots with slots per pole per phase q = z/3p = 14/3, is assembled of 3pc coil groups, grouping arrangement being 5 4 5 4 5 5 5 5 4, repeated c times. Novelty is that concentric coils have slot pitches ysi = 1- 2(i - 1) and turn number (1 - x)wc for coils numbered i = 1, 5 and turn number (1 + x)wc for coil numbered i = 3 in all five-coil groups; slot pitches y'si - 10 - 2(i' - 1) and turn number (1 + x)wc for coil numbered i = 3 in all four-coil groups with turn number wc in remaining coils of coil groups, where c = 1, 2, 3, ...; and i' = 1 ...4 are coil numbers in coil groups starting from external one; x = 0.55; 2wc is turn number in slots completely filled with winding. ^ EFFECT: reduced asymmetry and differential dissipation coefficients of winding. ^ 1 cl, 4 dwg |
