<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint which reduces a penetration amount of refrigerant to the atmosphere and simultaneously which uses a conventionally structural joint and a backup ring. <P>SOLUTION: The pipe joint is configured to form as the endless type backup ring 1 by holding down the backup ring 1 in joint attachment groove 5 formed on the pipe joint 3 connecting a pipe 2 as an annular concave part by a hold-down tool 7 after attaching the backup ring 1 formed with a notched part 6 which separates a part of the ring and then by thermally fusing the notched part 6 by a heating means 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
