PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oral cavity sensor and a phoneme discrimination device with which a phoneme is discriminated precisely and even a general user who has no skill for identifying the phoneme by viewing the shape of the oral cavity can discriminate the phoneme. SOLUTION: The oral cavity sensor 100 is provided with a sensor part which is provided with light-emitting parts 32 mounted to one of the palate and the tongue of a mounting person and light-receiving parts 31 mounted to the other thereof, and the sensor part has a plurality of the light-emitting parts 32 or the light-receiving parts 31, which is to be mounted to the tongue, and a light-receiving intensity detection means for detecting the light-receiving intensity pattern of the light-receiving parts 31.
