PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire hose which is easily handled without being damaged even when it is in a long length and a diameter is enlarged and does not obstruct quick coping on a large-scale fire scene, and a method for winding and delivering it. SOLUTION: The fire hose provided with a hose main body 11 for sending fire extinguishing fluid to be deformed so as to be cylindrical by the pressure of the fire extinguishing fluid and be flat by the release of the pressure is wound and delivered by a reel when it is flat. A protective member 30 for blocking the contact of one flat surface 11a and the ground surface when the one flat surface 11a of the hose main body 11 is mounted on the ground surface G as a lower surface is attached to the outer surface of the hose main body 11 beforehand so as not to be projected upwards more than the other flat surface 11b of the hose main body 11.
