<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commodity information providing system which enables a user to grasp a total amount of purchase without his or her own calculating operation, and also provide an information communication terminal to be used in the system. <P>SOLUTION: The information communication terminal accesses a server on a network, based on information transmitted from commodity tags correlated with prescribed commodities, to acquires information on the commodities. The terminal is provided with; a reading means which reads access-destination information for accessing the server from the commodity tags; an information acquisition means which accesses the server based on the access-destination information thus read out to acquire commodity information, which identifies the commodities, and price information; a computation means which computes the total amount of planned purchase by referring to the commodity information and the price information; a recording means which records the result of the computation of the total amount of the planned purchase; and a display means which displays the result of the computation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
