<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braking device for a vehicle enhancing responsiveness in a hydraulically actuated parking brake. <P>SOLUTION: The braking device for the vehicle comprises a reservoir tank T; a cylinder 21b for the parking brake; a cylinder 21a for invalid strokes; a fluid supply means for supplying fluids to both cylinders 21a, 21b; a brake wire W interlocked with the movement of a piston 22; and a control valve means for switching a first state of cutting off communication between the fluid supply means and the cylinder 21b for the parking brake while keeping communication between the fluid supply means and the cylinder 21a for invalid strokes, and a second state of allowing communication between the fluid supply means and the cylinder 21b for the parking brake while keeping communication between the fluid supply means and the cylinder 21a for invalid strokes. The control valve means is constituted to be switched to the second state after the first state when supplying the fluid to the cylinder 21b for the parking brake from the fluid supply means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
