<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for providing a pharmacological component possessed by a young bud of a pine as an easily eatable food capable of being preserved for a long period. <P>SOLUTION: The processed food is obtained by pickling the young bud of the pine with salt, drying the pickled product and powdering the dried product.
