PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an irreversible circuit element which can be suited a layout change, even when there is the layout change in the wiring pattern of a circuit board, and attachment to the circuit board is reduced in the direction of height by vertically inverting the irreversible circuit element. SOLUTION: In the irreversible circuit element of the present invention, an input terminal 11a and an output terminal 11b are disposed at positions line-symmetrical to a centerline S that is positioned approximately at the center between confronted side faces of yokes 1, 3. Therefore the input terminal 11a and the output terminal 11b become connectable to an input pattern 21a and an output pattern 12b provided on a circuit board 20 in both a normal state and an inverted state. Thus, even when there is a layout change in the input pattern 21a and the output pattern 21b, the irreversible circuit element can be suited the layout change without being exchanged.
