PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binding sewing machine, favorably controlling the cut length of a corner cut line. SOLUTION: Cam rollers 80A, 80B are abutted adjustably on inclined parts 75A, 75B of lower parts of scalpel beds 70A, 70B respectively supporting one-sided blade scalpels 51A, 51B to be controllable in the vertical position, whereby the one-sided blade scalpel 51A is moved horizontally while being elevated, thereby forming a corner cut line having a desired cut length. The cutting edge of each one-sided blade scalpel 51A, 51B vertically dashes into cloth irrespective of the length of the formed corner cut line to secure favorable sharpness.
