<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guide unit for a point light source in which light utilization efficiency is improved, and to provide a backlight assembly and a display device that has the light guide unit. <P>SOLUTION: The light guide unit for the point light source has a light-incident part, to which the light emitted from the point light source is incident, in which the light that is incident to a position, corresponding to the point light source is made to be diffused, and in which a light pattern is formed, a first reflecting part in which a first light out of the incident light via the light-incident part is made to be reflected, and a second-reflecting part in which the first reflecting part and the light-incident part are coupled, to have a round shape and the second light of the incident light is made to be reflected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
