PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card payment authentication server capable of sufficiently securing security against an impersonation without deteriorating service to a user, and a card payment authentication method.

SOLUTION: The card payment authentication server 1 stores the addresses of sending destinations of merchandise designated by past purchase requests for merchandise due to the impersonation in a first database 14. When the card payment authentication server 1 receives a purchase request for merchandise transmitted from a user terminal 4, the card payment authentication server 1 collates the address of a sending destination of the merchandise designated in the purchase request for the merchandise with the addresses stored in the first database 14 to determine whether the purchase request for the merchandise of this time is aimed to swindle the merchandise due to the impersonation. When it is determined that the purchase request is aimed to swindle the merchandise, the card payment authentication server 1 stops the transaction.
