PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor (for example, a multifunction machine) which is provided with a control panel, wherein while the control panel and a control unit are connected by three kinds of signal lines, images on an LCD provided on the control panel are speedily updated. SOLUTION: In the information processor 10, during data transmission (transfer) from a controller 31 to the control panel 21, a clock signal of high frequency is supplied into a serial interface circuit 25 inside the control panel 21, whereas during the data transmission from the operation panel 21 to the controller 31, a clock signal of low frequency is supplied into the serial interface circuit 25.
