PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of a shoulder check by contriving the outer shape from the neck part to the shoulder part in a bottle without improving a molding machine. SOLUTION: Regarding the longitudinal cross-section at least in the matching line of a finish mold, the part between the neck part formed of a straight line and the shoulder part formed of an upward projecting curve is formed of a curve obtained by smoothly connecting a plurality of downward projecting circular arcs. The radius of the circular arc is larger as it is closer to the shoulder, and the number of the circular arcs is≥2. Thus, in the case, upon the release of the finish mold, the mold and a glass bottle are interfered, the point M at which an interference amount is made the maximum lies in the lower part compared with the conventional shape, the curvature in the outer shape of the glass bottle in the point M is made large, and the stress generated at the part is reduced.
