PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inspecting an inkjet head nozzle which can easily adjust a positional relationship between an inkjet head and a measuring apparatus in a detection region with a reduced number of inspection procedures, and also can inspect the assembling precision of the inkjet head, and an inspection device. SOLUTION: This inkjet head nozzle inspection device comprises a transfer drive part which can move the inkjet head to be inspected in a direction where nozzles are aligned, an image processing part which processes an image of a liquid droplet formed in an imaging element and a control part which controls the transfer drive part and the image processing part. The inkjet head is inspected using the liquid droplets ejected from a plurality of the nozzles of the inkjet head, and a nozzle to eject the liquid droplet is previously assigned.
