The device has a measured value transmitter (2) and two different signal generating units (3, 4) arranged on the transmitter for generating encoder signals that are different from one another and comprise two levels. Each signal generating unit has a magnetic north pole and a magnetic south pole. A sensor (7) is provided for detecting the encoder signals and generates a binary output signal, where signals assigned to the signal generating units are arranged in the form of a pseudo random binary sequence. An independent claim is also included for a method for angle measurement by using an angle measuring device. |
