PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planetarium apparatus which lightens up the burden of operation on an operator, does not spoil a powerful projection image by an electronic projector, and keeps the beauty of a stellar image by an optical projector. SOLUTION: The planetarium apparatus 100 in which the electronic projector and optical projector cooperate with each other is such that the projection contents of the optical projector 20 can be changed through an operation section 5. An integrated control section 2 controls the quantity of light from the optical projector 20 according to an indication from the operation section 5. Further, the integrated control section 2 instructs an electronic drive control section 3 to open and close a motor-driven stop 11 as the quantity of light from the optical projector 20 is varied. Namely, the quantity of light from the electronic projector 10 is automatically controlled associatively with the change of the projection contents of the optical projector 20.
