There is provided a message image display device enabling a user to grasp the content of each message image when a plurality of message images are displayed. A display control unit (76) causes a display unit (82) to display a screen including a plurality of message images. A remaining time information storage unit (74) stores remaining time information while correlating it to each of the message images. A judgment unit (78) judges whether at least a part of display of the message image is limited by another message image. A remaining time information update unit (80) updates the remaining time information according to the judgment result made by the judgment unit (78). The display control unit (76) limits display of each of the message images according to the remaining time information stored while being correlating to the message image.
