PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive power transmission shaft with a dynamic damper, allowing highly accurate positioning of the dynamic damper on the shaft. SOLUTION: The shaft 1 has a mounting face 1a on the outer peripheral face for the dynamic damper 2. Outer diameter protruded portions 1b, 1b are provided at both axial ends of the mounting face 1a. A separation distance between the outer diameter protruded portions 1b, 1b approximately corresponds to the axial width of the mounting face 1a. The outer peripheral face of the shaft 1 is partitioned into the mounting face 1a and damper introduction faces 1c located at both axial ends of the mounting face 1a by the outer diameter protruded portions 1b. A cylinder portion 5 of the dynamic damper 2 is pressed and fixed into the mounting face 1a of the shaft 1, whereby the dynamic damper 2 is positioned and fixed onto the shaft 1 at its predetermined axial position.
