PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide spoke arrangement superior in efficiency and noise performance to an actual state of being designed by a trial and error or becoming a product being still incomplete in efficiency and noise performance in the spoke arrangement proper in terms of efficiency and noise. SOLUTION: This axial fan holds a motor 6 in a central position of a frame 2 surrounding a blade 1 via a plurality of spokes 4 by installing the blade 1 having a plurality of wings 3 on a rotary shaft of the motor 6. An angleβformed of a straight line 9 passing through an intersection between the spoke center line and a motor peripheral surface from the rotary shaft center 5 and a tangent of the spoke center line 8 in an intersection between the spoke center line and the motor peripheral surface, is set to an angle defined by 90-Arccos((D-d)/D) degree in the inverse direction of the blade rotational direction when assuming a motor diameter as D and a spoke width as (d), and an installation angle of the spoke 4 is set in this angle range.
