The inner dimensions of a receptacle, for receiving a block forming moulding material, may be adjusted by moving plural elements, arranged in a tightly packed array 200, to prevent the block forming material from seeping between the elements. Each element may be independently movable. A surface (204) of any desired shape may be formed (figure 7 - not shown) . The material may be concrete. In an alternative arrangement (figures 9A, 9B - not shown), three screw-threaded elements (312a, 312b, 312c) can be moved when rotated relative to moulding wall (308) with a flat inner surface, if desired. The device may be under computer control and receive output data from a computer aided design computer program. |
