PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrying device capable of correcting the displacement of the position of a recording medium while suppressing the defective correction due to the delay of carrying and buckling. SOLUTION: Holding plates 18A, 18B are disposed on the upper sides of a conveyor belt 12. The holding plates 18A, 18B are formed long, and arranged apart a predetermined distance from the conveyor belt 12 so as to face each other and along the conveyor belt 12. Circular arrangement holes 19 are formed in the holding plates 18A, 18B. The plurality of (seven in this embodiment) arrangement holes 19 are formed at predetermined intervals along the longitudinal direction. Balls 20 are disposed in the arrangement holes 19. The balls 20 are spherical, has a diameter slightly smaller than that of the arrangement holes 19, and exposed to the conveyor belt 12 side.
