<p>An antenna apparatus for a mobile terminal is provided to adjust a capacitance component by switching a power supply point and a ground point, so that an antenna is used in a low frequency band and a high frequency band. An antenna apparatus includes an asymmetric antenna(100), a switch(200) switching a power supply point(204) and a ground point(202) of the asymmetric antenna, and a control unit controlling the switch according to operation of a mobile terminal to change an antenna operation frequency of the mobile terminal.
