PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing brush for a car washing machine uniformly brought into close contact with a face to be washed to securely remove dirt and exhibiting high washing performance by stemming cleaning fluid on the face to be washed by brush pieces, actively absorbing the stemmed cleaning fluid, reducing interfacial tension with respect to the dirt adhered to the face to be washed and enlarging the contact area with the dirt; and the car washing machine mounted with the washing brush for the car washing machine. SOLUTION: The washing brush 1 for the car washing machine has the brush pieces 2 and a shaft body 3. The brush pieces 2 are formed on the outer peripheral part of the shaft body 3 and have upper brush members 4 and lower brush members 5. The upper brush member 4 is jointed to the side of the face to be washed of the lower brush member 5 and the shaft body 3 side from the end face 16 of the lower brush member 5, and the lower brush member 5 has water passing means formed in the vicinity of the jointed side end face 17 of the upper brush member 4.
