METHOD FOR OVERLAPPING REAL-TIME LANDSCAPE IMAGE AND GIS DATA

A method for overlapping a real-time landscape image, GIS data, and survey information using a GPS/INS equipment is provided to provide visual convenience by allowing a user to easily identify buildings. A method for overlapping real-time landscape image, GIS data, and survey information using GPS/INS(Geographic Information System/Interconnection Network Subsystem) equipment includes the steps of: obtaining images of a portable terminal in real time(S10); correcting distorted part of the images inputted from an image obtainer by CPU and calculating external elements such as camera position information and camera direction information at a photographing moment(S20); outputting the images from the CPU on a display unit(S30); selecting buildings in the images and an absolute coordinates of POI(Point Of Interest) information from a GIS database(S40); calculating pixels of the buildings in the images and the absolute coordinates of POI(Point Of Interest) information on a two-dimensional image frame(S50); and overlapping the buildings in the images and the absolute coordinates of POI(Point Of Interest) information on the display unit(S60).
