PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus, wherein angle of field dependency of a liquid crystal display panel can be expanded without changing the configuration of the liquid crystal display panel or increasing the number of display pixels. SOLUTION: In a digital still camera which is provided with a photographic element, arranged perpendicularly on the optical axis 14 of an objective lens 11, and with the liquid crystal display panel 12 in parallel, a conversion switch 13 is arranged in the vicinity of the liquid crystal display panel 12. The conversion switch 13 switches liquid crystal drive conditions of target recognition direction 31, wherein target recognition is performed from a normal direction 15 of the liquid crystal display panel 12 and liquid crystal drive conditions of target recognition direction 32, wherein target recognition of the liquid crystal display panel 12 is performed by an elevation angle.
