PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle-mounted electronic system in which a provided storage device does not fail even when a vehicle has passed through locations which cause vibrations and shocks in the case that such locations are not stored in the storage device as map information. SOLUTION: An upper light 24 and a lower light 25 are sequentially tuned on. A camera 26 is synchronized to the turning-on of the upper light 24 and the lower light 25 to acquire images. An acquisition control part 21 determines protrusions and recessions in a course surface absent in ground surface data on the basis of the acquire images and computes the sizes of the protrusions and recessions. A navigation control part 11 estimates vibration level values by computing vibration levels on the basis of the sizes of the protrusions and recessions computed by the acquisition control part 21. Since the navigation control part 11 turns an HDD 14 and a DVD drive 15 into protected mode when an estimated vibration level is equal to a prescribed level or greater, the navigation system does not fail.
