PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device capable of editing contents of input image data displayed on a display screen. SOLUTION: The image display device includes an analyzing section 11 that analyzes the types of images contained in the input image data, a dividing section 12 that divides the image data into blocks based on the analyzed types of images, a display controlling section 15 that displays the image data divided into the blocks on a touch panel 3, a specifying section 13 that specifies a block as selected or non-selected block with respect to the division blocks displayed on the touch panel 3, and an editing section 14 that receives edit settings from the display screen to apply edit processing to the division block whose selection is specified.
