The invention relates to a bleed air supply system and to a method for supplying bleed air to an aircraft with several bleed air supply lines (3, 4, 8, 11) between one or several bleed air sources (1, 2) and one or several consumers (10), each comprising at least one valve (5, 6, 7) for setting the flow-through quantity passing through the bleed air supply line, and a safety device (12) for closing the valve (5, 6, 7) in at least one of the several bleed air supply lines (3, 4, 8, 11) depending on an alarm signal that indicates an opening in at least one of the several bleed air supply lines (3, 4, 8, 11).
