PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveyance device and a recording device capable of suppressing occurrence of flapping and levitation of a recording medium when conveying it due to shortage of suction force even under any environment and sucking and conveying the recording medium stably to form image having high quality. SOLUTION: In this conveyance device having a conveyance carrying body for conveying the recording medium, a surface resistance value on a recording medium suction face side on the upstream side of the conveyance carrying body is controlled to 1012or less, moisture is uniformly supplied onto the whole face on the recording medium suction face side by application means based on the humidity detected by a humidity detection means for detecting humidity in the conveyance device, and a moisture supply means has a function for retreating from a recording medium conveyance roller.
