A collapsible chair comprising a seat frame (3), at least one front leg (6) rotatably mounted on the seat frame, and first and second rear legs (4) rotatably mounted on the seat frame. The chair has a first deployed state, and a second stored state in which the chair is collapsed into a size smaller than in the first deployed state. The first and second rear legs (4) have respectively a first and second axes of rotation, wherein the first axis of rotation is not parallel to the second axis of rotation, such that distal ends of the rear legs spaced from the ends of the legs mounted on the seat frame are distanced from each other by a larger distance when in the first deployed state than when in the second stored state.
