PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reproduction performance by providing an objective lens driving device for correcting the optical axis of an objective lens according to the inclination of an information medium in the information medium which is irradiated with a laser beam arranged so as to avoid coincidence of the optical axis with the center of the objective lens. SOLUTION: By setting a direction of shifting the light-emitting point of a laser element 6 from the objective lens 1, even in the information medium 5 which is irradiated with the laser beam arranged so as to avoid coincidence of its optical axis with the center of the objective lens 1, an aberration generated due to inclining of the objective lens 1 can be canceled by displacing the objective lens 1 in a focusing direction, so that the reproduction performance of this optical pickup device is improved.
