[Also in Division A4] An apparatus for making tube-shaped food products from eggs comprises a plurality of concentric tubes defining a plurality of zones therebetween, the inner tube forming the first zone, heating means surrounding said tubes, and means for separately introducing the white and yellow of eggs at one end of said zones and urging said egg white and egg yellow therealong. In a preferred embodiment of the invention the cooking apparatus comprises concentric tubes 4, 5 and 6; a hotliquid jacket 10 and electrical heater 11 surrounding tube 4; and hoppers 1, 2 and 3. The white and yellow of the eggs are introduced from hoppers 1 and 3 to the tubes 4 and 5 for cooking. Other culinary products may be introduced from hopper 2 into tube 6. |
