A method for managing an escrow account is provided to prevent a seller from collecting a sales amount of sold goods without approval by making a customer confirm reception of the goods and approve payment with a mobile terminal based on mobile terminal information stored in a ledger of the customer. An Internet shopping mall server transmits goods reception information of the customer to an escrow account management server managing the escrow account, which is a virtual account, of the customer(1600). The escrow account management server transmits a message for checking the goods reception and/or receiving a transfer approval to the customer mobile terminal(1620). The customer mobile terminal transmits information for confirming the goods reception and/or approval the transfer to the escrow account management server(1640). The escrow account management server withdraws a payment amount for the goods from the escrow account of the customer and transfers the withdrawn amount to the Internet shopping mall server. |
