<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technologies for dividing an image signal into a plurality of image regions. <P>SOLUTION: The object analyzing apparatus comprises a histogram analyzing section and a region dividing section. The histogram analyzing section creates a histogram by two or more color components regarding an image signal and divides the histograms within a mountain-like distribution range.
