<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily charge a main battery that supplies electric power to an important apparatus in a charging device that charges a main battery and a sub-battery simultaneously by inputting an AC from an AC generator, because a charging current that is supplied to the sub-battery is interrupted by operating a switch when an output voltage of the charging device drops below a predetermined lower limit voltage. <P>SOLUTION: A charging time is shortened by detecting the drop of an output voltage and by supplying the charging current to the main battery only, which is given high priority. The generation of noise arising from current fluctuation is prevented by changing over the batteries when a current does not flow in the charging device or when a flowing current is small. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
