A P2P(Peer-to-Peer) device having an embedded Linux module and a contents providing method using the P2P device are provided to allow a person to produce, operate and manage his or her multimedia contents and provide the multimedia contents to a plurality of users at a high speed. A P2P device(100) having an embedded Linux module includes a network interface(120) connected to a wired/wireless network to transmit/receive data to/from a user computer, an embedded central processing unit(110) storing data transmitted from the network interface and transmitting data to the user computer, and a storage unit(130) storing data transmitted and downloaded/uploaded to the user computer. |
