PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color adjustment method capable of adjusting color balance such as gray balance etc. accurately and easily. SOLUTION: Original image data of a RGB format are converted into a data of a Lab format. Then, chrominance (a) and (b) are changed by increase/decrease values▵a (L) and▵b (L) according to luminance L of the Lab values without changing the luminance L. Next, data composed of the luminance L and the chrominance (a) and (b) after the change is converted back into a data of a CYMK format, and the converted data are printed by a printer as an image data after correction. As for the increase/decrease values▵a (L) and▵b (L), test image data are printed for multiple patterns to make a list. An operator selects the increase/decrease values using the list.
