The invention provides proteins and polypeptides with anti-angiogenic activity. The proteins may be prepared by recombinant or other synthetic means and may be formulated in compositions as needed to facilitate their use. The invention further provides methods of inhibiting or reducing angiogenesis as well as the treatment of angiogenesis mediated diseases.
