<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory device and a memory control method for managing the peak of a read request or a write request, and for canceling peak excess. <P>SOLUTION: This memory device is provided with a memory; a module for outputting a write request or a read request; a memory controller for controlling the memory and a buffer. The memory controller is provided with a queue for storing the read request or write request of the module; a peak management part for monitoring whether or not the read request or the write request stored in the queue exceeds a preliminarily set peak value; and an arbiter for performing arbitration to the read request or the write request when the peak excess is not detected by the peak management part, and for making the buffer write the write data based on the write request stored in the queue when the peak excess is detected by the peak management part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
