PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metering unit that allows easy and accurate metering of electricity, gas or water usage while preventing metering errors. SOLUTION: The metering unit 100 includes: a measuring apparatus 10 for measuring the usage of electricity, gas or water to be metered and having a sending means 12 for sending information about an indicating number indicating the usage of the subject to be metered to the outside; and a metering terminal device 20 having a receiving means 21 capable of receiving the information about the indicating number sent from the measuring apparatus 10 by the sending means 12, while the receiving means is in a predetermined proximity state to the measuring apparatus 10.
