<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast receiving apparatus and a digital broadcast receiving method for registering sub channels as channels as fast as possible while more accurately confirming whether or not broadcast data are subjected to scramble processing. <P>SOLUTION: A storage section 9 stores: a scramble discrimination program 9D for allowing a CPU 7 to reference prescribed data included in the broadcast data so as to discriminate whether or not the data are subjected to scramble processing; a decode discrimination program 9E for allowing the CPU 7 to discriminate whether or not the broadcast data are subjected to scramble processing depending on whether or not the broadcast data are decodable; a discrimination program 9H for allowing the CPU 7 to discriminate whether or not the two ways of the scramble processing discrimination are coincident with each other; and a registration control program 9I for controlling the CPU 7 to execute channel registration in a detail mode when the CPU 7 discriminates dissidence or to execute channel registration in a simple mode when the CPU 7 discriminates coincidence in the execution of the discrimination program 9H. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
