PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speed sensitive valve device having a simple and easily-machinable spool shape, and free from any leakage of working fluid. SOLUTION: In this speed sensitive valve device, a differential pressure generating unit 20 with an orifice 24 interposed in a passage 23 with pressure oil from a charge pump 6 driven by a prime mover 1, and a differential pressure boosting unit 30 which houses a spool 32 movable according to the differential pressure between the primary side pressure and the secondary side pressure of the orifice 24 in the differential pressure generating unit 20 in cylindrical cases 31a-31d, and has an oil chamber 41 with any one of the primary side pressure and the secondary side pressure introduced via a throttling unit 32a on the outer circumference of the spool by the movement of the spool 32 between the outer circumference of the spool and an inner circumference of a case are separately formed. The pressure in the oil chamber 41 in the differential pressure boosting unit 30 is applied to a regulator 10 of an HST hydraulic traveling drive device. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
