<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set the quantities of light from all LEDs within a redetermined range, in an LED print head compatible with higher definition. <P>SOLUTION: This print head comprises: a signal generating circuit 100 which outputs a lighting signalΦI for making the LED emit the light is output, and which control the quantity of the light from the LED by fixing the pulse duration of the lighting signalΦI to a predetermined value or changing the pulse duration of the lighting signalΦI in a range including or exceeding the predetermined value; and a power supply voltage control part 119 for changing a value Vsub of a power supply voltage supplied to the LED, when the circuit 100 makes the pulse duration of the lighting signalΦI fixed to the predetermined value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
