PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capsule-type medical apparatus where a capsule moves smoothly in a lumen without being hindered by an interceptor such as a mucosa, a digestive fluid when drawing a cord member in the lumen to pull back and operate the capsule. SOLUTION: A ultrasonic capsule 2 being the capsule-type medical apparatus is provided with: the capsule which is introduced in the lumen and is composed of a capsule body 11 and an oscillation cover 12: and a signal cable 5 which is extended out from one end part of the capsule and can be drawn in the case of drawing and operating the capsule. The capsule is provided with a groove 61 for retreating the interceptor 55 which interferes the movement of the capsule when drawing the signal cable 5 to draw and operate the capsule.
