PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel having a silent type reverse rotation locking function, smoothly operated and having little friction resistance. SOLUTION: The reel 10 comprises a housing 20, a handle 26, a spool 30, a transmission wheel, a means for transmitting the power of a rotating shaft to the transmission wheel, at least one stopper and a connection rod. The handle 26 is installed to the housing by rotating shaft. The spool 30 is rotatively installed to the housing 20. The transmission wheel is installed to one end of the spool 30 and has a large number of ratchet wheels on the periphery. The stopper is installed to the housing 20 to swing between a first position and a second position and has a long and slender tub.
