PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasket for joint having excellent durability and excellent adhesiveness between an external part and a coating and between the external part and a gasket body. SOLUTION: This gasket 14 for joint is disposed in a joint space 13 between outer wall panels 12 for construction and seals the space between the outer wall panels 12. The gasket 14 for joint comprises the gasket body 15 positioned in the joint space 13, the external part 16 joined to the outer surface of the gasket body 15, and the weather-resistant coating 17 formed on the outer surface of the external part 16. The gasket body 15 is formed of a polyolefine material. The external part 16 is formed of a material containing a halogenated rubber not containing a plasticizer. The external part 16 is desirably be formed of a material in which a vinyl acetate polymer is mixed in the halogenated rubber.
